My grandmother’s husband passed away this week from a heart attack following treatment in a Pretoria hospital for cancer over the last few months.
Oom Jan was only a part of our family, he was always good to my grandmother and he was very much like a grandfather to me.
A good man – he will be missed a lot.

My deepest condolences, I hope your grandmother is taking it OK!
Thank you...she's getting by, one day at a time (sometimes one minute to the next I guess)...but she's really taking it very hard. We are all trying to support her as much as possible.
